For Lepidoptera, released on Club Coco, The Latin Sound of Now!, Iko Chérie teamed up with Colombian singer percussionist and dancer Valeria Pacific on vocals. The song denounces violence of any form and celebrates the joy of being alive and free on a beautiful planet. The video, directed by Marie herself, stages the two women dancing, smiling, playing music and chewing on politicians, war planes or police helmets to turn them into flowers. They evolve over dreamy collages depicting a fantasy world where cats and trees are revered and where we encounter the mysterious Lepidoptera, half butterly, half witch, who is ready to cast her gleeful spell!
